WEST ADAMS QUALITY OF LIFE COMMITTEE

WELCOME TO YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD QUALITY OF LIFe WEBSITE

This website records the activities of the Quality of Life Sub-Committee of the West Adams Avenues Neighborhood Association. This Committee’s brief is to do whatever it can to identify issues, problems and opportunities in our neighborhood, and to try to find ways to deal with them, for example by liaison with the 10th District Councilman’s office and the LAPD’s Senior Lead Officer for the area.

Some examples of the issues and problems the Sub-Committee discusses and tries to find solutions for are  traffic, parking, dangerous intersections, institutional encroachment into residential areas and other undesirable uses of residential properties, unsafe through-traffic, and crime.

The Sub-Committee meets once a month. One of these meetings is with representatives of the CD10 Council Office, and one is with just residents. All residents and stake-holders are invited to attend these meetings, or to raise issues of concern to them, so that these can be taken up by the Committee, publicized on this website, and hopefully resolved. Anyone interested in raising an issue can also email the Committee at westadamsqlc@mac.com
